Distribution:	Very common in the whole Africa in the vicinity of water, but rare in desert zones.
Habitat:	The african fish eagle prefer areas abounding water (rivers, lakes, mouths and coasts).
Size:	Male: cm 75 (head-tail). Female: cm 65 (head-tail).
Behaviour:	Mostly diurnal life.
Food:	It feeds largely on fish and amphibian, but not disdain carcass.
