| Behaviour: |
Mostly
diurnal. It prefers the cooler daylight hours but also partly at night.
It worst enemies lions, cheetah, wild dogs and hyeanas. |
| Food: |
Grasses
and browes, it can also eat roots and bulbs. It can reach the higher leaves
by easing itself on its rear paws. It needs water daily but in case of
necessity it can resist without drinkin for several days. |

A
single fawn after about a gestation period of approximately 170 days. |
