Arboreal species, usually found hidden between leaves of Pndanus screw palms and Ravenala palms
Remarks:
The specimens depicted in this photographs shows a brightly coloured tail. This is interpreted as a defensive colouration. In fact, predators are attracted by this colouration, espacially when the gecko is captured and thereafter waves its tales, which is used as a lure. Often the predator bites at the tail, which is autothomized and the gecko can flight free
