- Distribution:
- The rhino is one of the poacher's favourite victims that's why it runs the risk of
extintion. Rarely it is possible to see it inside the Parks.
- Habitat:
- Large territories from 2 hectares to 50 square km.
- Size:
- Total lenght: 300 to 375 cm.
Shoulder height: 150 to 160 cm.
Weight: 1.000 to 1.600 kg.
- Behaviour:
- Usually it feeds early in the morning or late in the afternoon. During the rest of the
day it is very difficult to meet it. It likes to bath in the mud.
- Food:
- It feeds mostly with leaves, small branches and sprouts.
- Reproduction:
- A single calf after 15 to 16 momths of gestation.
- Longevity:
