- Very common in the whole Africa in the vicinity of water, but rare in desert zones.
- Habitat:
- The african fish eagle prefer areas abounding water (rivers, lakes, mouths and coasts).
- Size:
- Male: cm 75 (head-tail).
Female: cm 65 (head-tail).
- Behaviour:
- Mostly diurnal life.
- Food:
- It feeds largely on fish and amphibian, but not disdain carcass.
